Support and community for local families navigating stillbirth.

You can support grieving families, by making a tax deductible donation. Donations are powered by GoFundraise.
Introducing EvergreenThree
EvergreenThree is a small Australian charity in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire.
After the loss of our three babies in 2023, we’re dedicated to doing our bit to support families navigating the heartbreaking journey of stillbirth.
Our Care & Keepsake Box
The EvergreenThree Care & Keepsake Box offers tangible comfort through a thoughtful collection of meaningful items designed to support grieving families in their earliest moments of loss.
Each box, made possible by generous donors, is a lasting symbol of love, remembrance, and compassionate community support.
Stillbirth in Australia
Stillbirth is the birth of a baby who has died after 20weeks into pregnancy. It is considered to be one of the most devastating events a family can experience.
In Australia, 6 babies are stillborn each day, affecting more than 2,000 Australian families each year. For 1 in 3 stillbirths, the cause is unknown.
If you're reading this, maybe you’re a friend or family member looking for ways to help.
Or maybe you’ve experienced stillbirth yourself and want to know more about Evergreen Three - whether you’ve received a box through our distribution network, or looking for a way to honour you baby by paying it forward with a donation.
Regardless of who you are, by visiting this site, you're joining a community of bereaved parents, supporters, and caregivers in recognising the much loved little ones, gone way too soon.
Thank you for your support,
Jenna, Emily & Ash
Testimonials
The Care and Keepsake boxes are an incredibly meaningful resource for families facing the devastating loss of their baby. Beautifully curated, they offer a thoughtful balance of information, support, and gentle encouragement toward self-care.
These boxes are a beautiful resource to support us in walking beside families, as we bear witness to their grief, love, and loss.
— Tayla & Meg, Social WorkersWhen a baby dies, a parent’s grief is consuming and isolating.
The Care & Keepsake boxes gently welcome connection and mark the beginning of a family’s grief journey. They create space for memories to be held, honoured, and revisited when parents are ready. In many ways, these boxes empower women and their families to reflect on and honour their baby’s precious life.
— Eugenie, Bereavement MidwifeWe received our EvergreenThree box from the hospital social worker after welcoming our son, Gideon, who was stillborn at 38 weeks. It helped us feel less alone to see the names of other children whom items had been donated in memory of. The baby book meant we could capture precious memories like hand and foot prints and have somewhere to remember his birth and the short time we had with him.
— Gideon's parents, Beth & Hal
Share your baby’s story
Evergreen Three was started from the idea of connection. We connected through our experiences, and found support in learning we weren’t alone. If you would like to contribute to this community, by sharing the story of you and your baby, we’d be honoured to receive it.
We endeavour to publish all stories shared by you, to our website and social media.
